We have many words to describe the last few years of grape growing in Kansas, however ideal is unfortunately not one of them. What that means is that we have had to get a little creative with our grape sourcing and our wine blending.

Nothing is more indicative of that than this wine, which combines Kansas Crimson Cabernet with Missouri Chambourcin and California Petite Sirah. The result is a big bodied, dark fruited, and more tannic wine, though still with that bit of Midwest acidity to keep you coming back for more. Surf’s up, y’all!
