Sold Out!

Friday September 30th  5:30pm-8pm

Another evening of fun and flavor awaits you at the Fall Release Party! During this Fall version of our open house, we'll be debuting six wines to go along with some delicious hors d'oeuvres cooked up by our house chefs Keith and Laura.

The dry wines we will be pouring will be 2015 Barrel Reserve White, our oak barrel aged Chardonel, Beach Day Rose, our smooth and refreshing dry rose which makes an ideal back porch sipper, as well as 2014 Norton, our big, bold, tannic dry red wine that was aged in oak for almost two years.

The sweet wine lineup begins with the Chloe's Cuvee, our semi-sweet Reisling style white wine blend, and also features Prairie Pink, our  very easy drinking sweet rose, and concludes with the return of Holiday Spirit, our delicious spiced white wine made to served warm.

Keith and Laura's food menu will consist of Buffalo Tacos, Polenta with Tomato Compote, Apricot Cheese Balls, Lentil Pate, Crackers with Goat Cheese and Jelly, Brownies, and Espresso Cookies.

This is a come and go event, so even if you can't make it right at 5:30, there will still be plenty of wine and food to be enjoyed when you do arrive.

Admission to this event is $25 per person and includes wine, hors d’oeuvres, and your glass. Tickets can be purchased at our online store.  Hope to see you there!

Harvest Is Not Quite Done Yet!!!

Our last harvest of the year is scheduled for Saturday, October 1st. If you would like to participate in harvest on that day, send us an email at harvest@gracehillwinery.com and we will put you on the list!

For those unfamiliar with the harvest process, we pick on Saturday mornings throughout August and September, for 2-3 hours each Saturday. Once the picking is done, the harvest crew heads into the event center for free lunch and wine! Thanks in advance to everyone who signs up and we hope to see you at harvest!

Grape Stomp/Dog Day/Pop Up Restaurant

Saturday, October 15th 12pm-6pm

If you've ever wanted to channel your inner Lucille Ball and stomp on grapes with your bare feet, here is your chance! We'll be heading out into the vineyard at 12pm to pick secondary growth grapes (basically extra grapes that the vines have grown but that won't ever get ripe enough to make into wine), which we'll then bring back to the patio, throw the grapes into large bins, and get to stomping! It's a great time for the whole family and is completely free. No need to RSVP for this event, just show up at noon ready to pick and stomp!

And since Georgia had such a good time at her 6th birthday party this April, she is insisting we have another dog party at the winery. Georgia never seems to have much trouble getting what she wants, so we're inviting everyone and their dog! During our normal hours of 12-6pm on Saturday, October 15th, bring your pooch out to Grace Hill for tasty wine and tail wags. We'll have games, treats, lots of room to roam, and of course wine for every puppy parent. There is no need to RSVP, just show up on Saturday any time during normal open hours with a good natured canine and enjoy what we hope will be controlled chaos.

If you want a little better idea of what a winery dog party looks like, check out the video from Georgia's birthday party last year!

For the non-"dog people" who still want to enjoy some wine at the winery, we will have "no dog zones" inside and outside as well.

With all the grape stomping, dog partying, and lots of wine serving going on, we figured a few appetites might get worked up as well, so we invited Chef Roberto Simmons back to set up a pop up restaurant in the event center!

Growing up in Texas allowed Chef Roberto Simmons the opportunity to experience the rich culinary roots of the Southwest firsthand. Now Roberto shares the experience, offering delicious meals shaped by the attitude and passion he developed for Southwestern cuisine. These days he specializes in providing a taste of Cowboy cuisine fused with European and Nuevo Latino Cuisine.
